Say what you want but this man is the second most famous Human Being since Jesus of Nasereth…(and he became God) Now, Micheal Jackson is getting another royal send off in Viennna in September.

Organizers said the venue will be the sprawling grounds of Vienna’s former imperial Schoenbrunn Palace, where a giant outdoor multimedia stage shaped like a crown will be built.

Jackson’s brother Jermaine said recently that Vienna was special for Michael, who “loved castles.” Tickets will go on sale Aug. 20.

“For one incredible night Michael Jackson’s unforgettable music will be brought to life again,” World Awards Media said on its Web site. “Some of the world’s leading artists will perform Michael’s greatest hits live in Vienna in front of one of the most fascinating historical sites in Europe and celebrate the life of the ‘King of Pop.’”

Organizers said Jermaine Jackson and other family members “will lead a high-profile lineup of international stars on stage to celebrate the life of his brother and perform some of Michael’s unforgettable songs.”

They would not confirm reports that the tribute may include U2, Madonna, Lionel Richie and Whitney Houston.

World Awards Media chief Georg Kindel said Monday it would be held in the first part of September. Jackson died June 25 in Los Angeles.

Many had expected the tribute to be held in London, where Jackson was booked to perform a series of concerts, or a larger European capital such as Berlin, Paris or Rome.

But Friday, on “Larry King Live,” Jermaine Jackson said Vienna was “a very dear place for Michael.”

“And he loved castles. And we’re going to have this huge celebration in front of a castle,” Jermaine Jackson said.

Spokespeople for promoters AEG Live, which had been organizing Jackson’s London concerts, had no immediate comment on the Vienna tribute. But London fans expressed displeasure.

“If he likes castles, they could’ve done it anywhere in the UK. We’ve got them here, too,” said Peter Chowng, a 42-year-old London businessman.

Kindel said he hoped to secure official permission within the next eight days to hold the concert at Schoenbrunn.

The venue has enough standing room to accommodate 85,000 people. The daily Oesterreich said giant screens would be set up in parks around Vienna to handle the huge overflow crowds expected.

A UNESCO World Heritage site, Schoenbrunn dates to the 14th century, but it’s best known for more recent occupants: members of the royal Habsburg dynasty, which ruled the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Jermaine Jackson said, in a statement on World Awards Media’s Web site, that the concert was conceived as an annual event to keep alive not only Michael Jackson’s music, “but his spirit as well.”

Kindel said a “not insignificant” portion of the proceeds would go to the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, which helps patients who can’t afford heart surgery.

Monday’s announcement drew an angry reaction from an organization calling itself Resistance for Peace Vienna.

The group, citing Jackson’s legal entanglements over allegations of child molestation, sent Vienna City Hall and Schoenbrunn’s supervisory board a letter urging authorities not to approve the plan “for ethical reasons.”

I know , I know there is now another annoying terminology out there for something cool, or at least trying to be. The new term is “Tiguere” and that basically means a man is oozing with confidence and swaggar. But I ‘ve seen men ooze with “Confidence” with a bottle of Bacardi and about 5000 cash in his pocket, so calling yourself a fucking “Tiguere” is somewhat nonsense. But read what out friends at Askmen.com have to say about it…..AskMen.com
The term tiguere first became popular in Latin American countries like the Dominican Republic in the 1940s and ‘50s to describe the alpha males of these societies. A tiguere, a colloquial term for tiger, oozes masculinity, is confident in his actions, emerges well from even the most difficult situations, and has an uncanny ambition in whatever he does. A tiguere will not shy away from treachery, lies or violence to achieve his goals; he is stylish, strong and, most importantly, immensely successful with women — and commonly uses women to his advantage.

After that explanation, why wouldn’t you want to be a tiguere? Think of the old-school nature of Sean Connery’s Bond, his wit and charm with more of a focus on the babes and cars than M’s gadgets and taking down evildoers. Throw in JFK’s charisma (and his escapades with a certain Playboy cover girl), the ruthless business prowess of Wall Street’s Gordon Gekko, the slick and stylish nature of Entourage’s Ari Gold, topped off with some Latin spice, and set to puree.

That concoction may have very well produced Porfirio and Don Pedro Rubirosa, the father-son combination that came to be the very definition of tigueres, a term that at the time was reserved for the most well respected and envied men in society.

What Don Pedro established as a ruthless and dominating man in the Dominican, son Porfirio expanded on in just about every way, becoming the ultimate definition of an international playboy. Porfirio was a professional polo player, race car driver, world traveler, and a prolific ladies’ man whose conquests included Marilyn Monroe, Zsa Zsa Gabor and Barbara Hutton — who he married and divorced within 53 days, leaving with a reported $3.5 million, coffee plantation and B-25 airplane to console his broken heart. Poor guy.

Each and every one of us has a little tiguere in us, and by following these steps you can let it out of its cage completely and be well on your way to jet-setting playboy fame.

Look the part

If you want people to believe you are powerful, successful and charming, you need to look the part. A tiguere’s style is classic, but at the same time possesses that intangible something-special that people will instantly be able to see about you — but have a difficult time defining. It is that air of mystery that tigueres hope to capture with their look; simple yet classy suits will do the best to accomplish this. It is important to have these suits expertly tailored to fit your body the best that they can. Don’t skimp on the threads or the tailor service for the best results. Top it off with a flashy tie or an ascot to complete your suit and add a little spice to your ensemble.

Be a social leader

Tigueres don’t blend in with the crowd — they lead the crowd. Whether it be at work, with your friends or the blonde bombshell you just met at the club, you should be the one leading by example, showing people how to have a damn good time and not being afraid of trying new things. One of the key characteristics of a tiguere is their ability to take on difficult and unfamiliar situations and emerge with Bond-like swagger. Applying this to social situations means that you know everything from the secret, free parking lot closest to your favorite MLB team, to the finest steakhouse in town where you are best buds with your waiter Victor and he already has a choice bottle of wine ready for your arrival.

People will be intrigued by your leadership and will always love to hang out with you, no matter what the social setting. You are the guy people call up when they have a question about a restaurant, bar or other hot spot, and then they immediately invite you along because they know it will make for one decadent night out.

5 Methods That Waste Your Time

Time is money — whether you’ve got a job or not. While it may be tempting to chase down every possibility when you’re searching for work, don’t. Many can lead you down a blind alley — where you may lose the contents of your wallet.

A focused search using tried and true methods, especially networking, will lead to your next job, not tactics that smack of desperation.

1. Spray and pray.

Don’t blindly send your resume unsolicited, electronically or otherwise, to any company without first making verbal contact. Says Ryan, founder of AskLizRyan.com, “Tossing out un-customized cover letters and undifferentiated resumes in huge volumes and crossing your fingers is a job-search non-starter. That doesn’t work, and it hasn’t worked in 10 years, or more.” Establish a connection before sending a customized cover letter and, adds Ryan, “You can even customize your resume if a job opening calls for it.”

2. Stand in line for a job fair.

Admits Ryan, “Sad to say, but most job fairs are a waste of time. Avoid the huge cattle call-type job fairs where zillions of employers have booths, yet no one is taking resumes.” There are some job fairs that have value. Ryan, a former human resources executive, points to company-specific open hours and college placement job fairs. Tap your network to learn if anyone can recommend worthwhile fairs. “Ask around before you head off to a job fair or risk having your time wasted and your ego dashed.”

3. Earn certifications nobody wants.

It’s common to feel less-than-confident in your skills if you’re having a hard time finding work, but don’t rush out to spend money on any additional training unless you’re certain it will yield improved results. Ryan reveals, “Before you sign up for a certification training program, check the job boards to make sure that employers are asking for it. There’s no sense investing time and money in a certification no one wants.”

If you’re getting the hard-sell from an educational institution, Ryan says, “Ask the people at the school that’s doing the certifying, ‘Which local employers have hired your graduates in the past year?’ If they can’t tell you, run away.”

4. Pay a headhunter.

Don’t dole out money to any kind of recruiter or sign a contract agreeing to do so. “Real headhunters, also known as search consultants or third-party recruiters, won’t take your money. They get paid by employers to fill open jobs.” She warns, “If a recruiter calls or emails you to say s/he’s got jobs open, and then invites you to his or her office for a counseling session and presents you with a range of career-coaching services, bolt for the exit. Real search professionals won’t take a dime from their candidates.”

5. Sign up with a resume fax-blast service.

This old-school — and desperate — tactic is a total turn-off to potential employers and smacks of spam. Ryan says, “Services that send out hundreds or thousands of your resumes might have been worthwhile 20 years ago. Today, they’re worse than pointless, because it irks employers to get unsolicited resumes. Forget the fax-blast services and do your own careful research to reach decision-makers with messages they actually want to hear.”

Dickwell Thrust will give you the ways to lose that gut and get back into finding your penis ( and nuts) and stop making your wife go out for “Girl’s Nite” every fucking weekday…….

There is much hype and misinformation surrounding the subject of how to get rid of a beer gut.

If you can get past the infomercials selling their ab machines, diet supplements and magic pills you’ll have a much better chance of actually seeing some proper results and holding on to the money in your pocket.

Like anything in life that involves hard work and desirable results there are no shortcuts. A task such as this requires some fundamental changes in how you live your life and exchanging bad habits for good ones.

Here are 7 small life changes you can make to your every day routine to help to get rid of a beer gut:

1. Park the car a few blocks from work forcing you to walk the rest of the journey every day to incorporate some exercise into your daily routine. If you take the bus or train try and get off a stop or 2 early (take a change of shoes for this).

2. Try and avoid taking lifts and escalators if there are stairs you can take instead.

3. Swap coffee for green tea.

4. Split your meals up into 5 or 6 smaller meals throughout the day, this will increase your metabolism and therefore burn more fat.

5. Drink lots of water, particularly when you get up and before you go to bed.

6. Eat larger meals earlier in the day when you need the energy and smaller ones in the evening when extra energy will only end up being stored as fat. Remember this expression;- “Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and sup like a pauper” but try and split this into 5 or 6 meals instead of the usual 3.

7. Be conscious of how you sit at your desk or how you hold yourself during your day to day routine. One of the best ways to develop a flat tummy is to exercise your transverse abdominus. You do this by holding in your stomach (without holding your breath). Aim to see how long you can hold it in for and better your time every day.

Drawing your belly button into your spine is sometimes referred to as ‘activating your core’. If you work at a computer set a calendar reminder to ‘activate your core’ several times a day. If you don’t work at a computer set your watch or phone alarm to remind you to do this. Tensing your stomach muscles and drawing your naval into your spine is something you can do sitting or standing and in almost any situation.

These 7 tips can make a world of difference to helping you get rid of a beer gut if you add them to your daily routine. Proper diet and exercise play an important part as well, however it is possible to ‘multitask’ and lose your beer gut when you’re at work and even at play.

If you combine these routine changes with a solid exercise and diet system you’ll start seeing results a lot quicker than you thought possible. Of course you’ll want to make sure you’re using the right diet and exercise system.

Former Tonight Show host and car enthusiast Jay Leno has put his helping CHIN , oh excuse us, HAND into creating a flashy new state-of -the art automobile.

Via Road and Track

We first saw Jay Leno’s EcoJet mid-engine turbine coupe at the 2006 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Leno, with General Motors‘ Design Chief, Ed Welburn, and Frank Saucedo, who heads the automaker’s west coast studio, penned the design concept.

Leno has both a motorcycle and a pickup truck powered by “jet” turbine engines, so the plan was to create an automobile that would run on a similar powerplant fueled by biodiesel.

The EcoJet was initially a static exhibit, but one thing about Jay’s Garage is that everything runs. So Jim Hall, Bernard Juchli and the other wizards in the Burbank shop set about to turn the EcoJet from a barely rolling display into a complete running automobile.

What they were mating were a Honeywell LT-101 turbine engine with some 700 bhp and upwards of 500 lb-ft of torque to a GM 4-speed automatic transmission. This driveline was installed amidships in a reworked Corvette aluminum frame surrounded by the carbon fiber body.

Think about the challenge of turning a static show car into a running automobile. Problems like mating the electronics of the turbine to those of the gearbox and then creating a dashboard display so Leno can monitor functions when driving.

Jay Leno with the EcoJet.

And all this while the crew was working on other projects from steam machines to muscle cars, because unlike some shops, in Jay’s Garage things get done.

Now the EcoJet is a runner…like 150-plus mph in one test. We had a chance to spend a day with Leno and the jet machine and can confirm it is impressive.

Naturally it sounds like a taxiing jet even at idle, great coils of heat roiling out of exhaust vents behind the engine. The EcoJet seems to be cruising just above the road surface and you can imagine the stares it gets on the freeway where it looks like it just swooped in from Star Wars or, perhaps, The Jetsons.
